Absolutely fabulous EDIX (FRA) treeless Western saddle! This is a perfect Western saddle for that'hard to fit' horse as it's treeless!

Very comfortable Western treeless saddle in brown leather; these are an extremely well made and high quality saddles. Size is LARGE (approx 18).

However included is a'cantle back cushion' which reduces the size of the seat so 2 or more different sized riders can use the same saddle. (see last photo, it fits between the back of the seat & the cantle). Also included in this package is a 60cm brown EDIX Western girth, matching leather fenders (stirrup leathers), 2 x pommels (size small & large, so you can use the saddle with different sized horses), a cantle back cushion (to make the seat size smaller) & I'll even throw in a lovely grey horsey-patterned fleece Western saddle cover too! This saddle has hardly been used; perhaps ridden on only a handful of times. There is some very slight wear on the saddle skirt where the fenders have rubbed & one of the pommels has a little scratching on the leather of the horn, which would probably polish out.

In fact, it has not even been'worn in' yet and you can see by the seat that it has not even settled down, as treeless saddles do once they've been regularly used. Always stored correctly on a saddle rack in the house, never in the damp, dusty tack-room!

(Please note - package DOES NOT INCLUDE stirrups or treeless saddle pad). However, I can highly recommend the EDIX 3-mesh Merino wool treeless Western saddle pads - they're so good I'm keeping the one I bought with this saddle & now use it with my TCS instead! And I used the Smart Rider Escape stirrups - they do a Western version too! This saddle is approximately 18 months old but it is just not getting enough use to have it sitting around.

I bought it for my husband to ride in as he needed a bit more security due to suffering a stroke a few years ago, however he struggles to get on/off because of the high pommel/cantle as he has limited movement in his legs.
