Circle Y Brand Equitation/Pleasure Western Saddle Sweethome TX 15 seat
Dark brown floral embossed leather with a nicely padded seat that was once suede but now a polished smooth leather, square skirt, silver braided cantle, silver concho embedded horn, silver stainless detail on skirt sides, regular tree, this saddle is from the 1980s and is in very good condition with many years use left. Circle Y is often known as Americas saddle brand, and certainly one of the most recognized. Founded in 1960 in the small town of Yoakum, Texas. In the past Circle Y had several building locations located in small towns around Yoakum.
Some saddles may say Sweethome (like this one), Shiner, Cow Country or Rebel but are all genuine Circle Y brand. I cannot find a serial # on this so it may be pre-1980s as the saddles made in the 1960s and 1970s did not always have serial #s.
